- For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the humble with salvation. - The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace. - And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
- And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
- With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! - I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works. - A good man deals graciously and lends;
He will guide his affairs with discretion. - Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
- I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
- Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
- Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
- Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life. - For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.
- Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- By pride comes nothing but strife,
But with the well-advised is wisdom. - Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
- Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
- And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.
- I will praise You with uprightness of heart,
When I learn Your righteous judgments. - And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.
- But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance.
- If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
- I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
- The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor,
But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered. - Let all that you do be done with love.
