We have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from your commands and laws.We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules.
When he comes, he will prove the world to be in the wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.

Does the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’ or ‘Your work has no handles’?
But the one who does not know and does things deserving punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked.But the one who did not know, and did what deserved a beating, will receive a light beating. Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required, and from him to whom they entrusted much, they will demand the more.
But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
