For who is God save the Lord? or who is a rock save our God?For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain.
Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble.Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God. Do not forget the helpless.
Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the Lord.Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord.
For thus saith the Lord unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live.This is what the Lord says to Israel: “Seek me and live.”
A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.The Lord sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts.
And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.The Lord commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the Lord our God, so that we might always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today.
For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.

The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.The Lord is righteous in all his ways and faithful in all he does.
