| But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts. | Yahweh will command his loving kindness in the daytime. In the night his song shall be with me: a prayer to the God of my life. | The Lord will send His goodness in the daytime; And His song will be with me in the night, A prayer to the God of my life. |

| However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus Christ might display all his patience for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life. | Yet for this reason I found mercy, so that in me as the foremost sinner Jesus Christ might demonstrate His perfect patience as an example for those who would believe in Him for eternal life. |
| He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again? | He is not here, but He has risen. Remember how He spoke to you while He was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise from the dead. |
| I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself up for me. | I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me. |
| But he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more. |
