- By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
- I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
- Better a patient person than a warrior,
one with self-control than one who takes a city. - Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
- You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
- There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?
- For this is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
- Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
- No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.
- All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.
- Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
- Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
- Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
- The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.
- But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
- In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high. - For by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
- I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
- But the gift is not like the trespass. For if the many died by the trespass of the one man, how much more did God’s grace and the gift that came by the grace of the one man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many!
- And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
- But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
- But at the beginning of creation God ‘made them male and female.’ ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.
- Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
- Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.Next verse!With image
