- “For the mountains may depart,
and the hills be removed,
but my loving kindness will not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace will not be removed,”
says Yahweh who has mercy on you. - But he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whomever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked.
- Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age, or in that which is to come.
- He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress.
I will never be greatly shaken. - Make the path of your feet level.
Let all of your ways be established. - I will be glad and rejoice in you.
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High. - The angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called the Son of God.”
- Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- They said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
- My son, if your heart is wise,
then my heart will be glad, even mine. - Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh,
since we have hoped in you. - He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again?
- For nothing spoken by God is impossible.
- Therefore tell them, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “None of my words will be deferred any more, but the word which I speak will be performed,” says the Lord Yahweh.’
- Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good.
- Don’t weary yourself to be rich.
In your wisdom, show restraint. - When you pass through the waters, I will be with you,
and through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned,
and flame will not scorch you. - I will bless Yahweh at all times.
His praise will always be in my mouth. - Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they shall be filled. - Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
- For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which will be revealed toward us.
- Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
- In you, Yahweh, I take refuge.
Let me never be disappointed.
Deliver me in your righteousness. - I will establish my covenant with you: All flesh will not be cut off any more by the waters of the flood. There will never again be a flood to destroy the earth.
- What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
