- He who doesn’t take his cross and follow after me isn’t worthy of me.

because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble.
He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives
and release to those who are bound. - Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
- It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant.
- Where could I go from your Spirit?
Or where could I flee from your presence?
If I ascend up into heaven, you are there.
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, you are there! - For he will never be shaken.
The righteous will be remembered forever. - Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations.
I will be exalted in the earth. - Don’t judge,
and you won’t be judged.
Don’t condemn,
and you won’t be condemned.
Set free,
and you will be set free. - Be exalted, God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be above all the earth! - For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
- Finally, all of you be like-minded, compassionate, loving as brothers, tenderhearted, courteous.
- Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged.
- He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who disbelieves will be condemned.
- Let no one deceive you in any way. For it will not be unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction. He opposes and exalts himself against all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, setting himself up as God.
- Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.
- Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed.
Save me, and I will be saved;
for you are my praise. - Be exalted, God, above the heavens!
Let your glory be over all the earth. - Who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error. Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting.
