- Delight thyself also in the Lord:
and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly are his delight. - A fool hath no delight in understanding,
but that his heart may discover itself. - In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul. - If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath,
from doing thy pleasure on my holy day;
and call the sabbath a delight,
the holy of the Lord, honourable;
and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways,
nor finding thine own pleasure,
nor speaking thine own words:
Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord;
and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth,
and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father:
for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. - Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord,
that delighteth greatly in his commandments. - I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people:
he will beautify the meek with salvation. - Who is a God like unto thee,
that pardoneth iniquity,
and passeth by the transgression
of the remnant of his heritage?
he retaineth not his anger for ever,
because he delighteth in mercy. - The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice:
and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. - Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever:
for they are the rejoicing of my heart. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
- Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.
- The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
he will save,
he will rejoice over thee with joy;
he will rest in his love,
he will joy over thee with singing. - When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
- Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
- My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord;
neither be weary of his correction:
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth;
even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. - I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
my soul shall be joyful in my God;
for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation,
he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness,
as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments,
and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.
But now, O Lord, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.Next verse!With image
