- God shall bless us,
And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. - But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
- Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing, and afterward, when they had ended, He was hungry.
- Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
- I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
- You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.
- Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men.
- And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved. - The memory of the righteous is blessed,
But the name of the wicked will rot. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
- Until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high,
And the wilderness becomes a fruitful field,
And the fruitful field is counted as a forest. - For the word of the Lord is right,
And all His work is done in truth. - Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
- Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
Who walk in the law of the Lord! - By humility and the fear of the Lord
Are riches and honor and life. - The blessing of the Lord makes one rich,
And He adds no sorrow with it. - Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
And the fields yield no food;
Though the flock may be cut off from the fold,
And there be no herd in the stalls—
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation. - The tongue of the righteous is choice silver;
The heart of the wicked is worth little. - The hope of the righteous will be gladness,
But the expectation of the wicked will perish. - Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
But violence covers the mouth of the wicked. - The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry. - Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
- But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
- The name of the Lord is a strong tower;
The righteous run to it and are safe.
