Good faith (2/4)

But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.And He said to them, “Because of your meager faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.

And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?And who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?
Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.Trust in the Lord and do good; Live in the land and cultivate faithfulness.
Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification.
O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.Taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!
We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.We are Jews by nature and not sinners from the Gentiles; nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.
O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His faithfulness is everlasting.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.But the Scripture has confined everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?
Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised.
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.Then you will discern righteousness, justice, And integrity, and every good path.
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!How delightful on the mountains Are the feet of one who brings good news, Who announces peace And brings good news of happiness, Who announces salvation, And says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.But examine everything; hold firmly to that which is good, abstain from every form of evil.
The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him.
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.A joyful heart is good medicine, But a broken spirit dries up the bones.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brothers to live together in unity!
The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.The young lions do without and suffer hunger; But they who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing.

Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.He who finds a wife finds a good thing And obtains favor from the Lord.
