- I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;
I will guide you with My eye. - May He grant you according to your heart’s desire,
And fulfill all your purpose. - I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
- But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to hold fast to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
- So rend your heart, and not your garments;
Return to the Lord your God,
For He is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger, and of great kindness;
And He relents from doing harm. - Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
- You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
- A good man deals graciously and lends;
He will guide his affairs with discretion. - The integrity of the upright will guide them,
But the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them. - Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord and His statutes which I command you today for your good?
- Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
- But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
- And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.
- I delight to do Your will, O my God,
And Your law is within my heart. - My flesh and my heart fail;
But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. - Incline my heart to Your testimonies,
And not to covetousness. - Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You. - Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
- Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
On You I wait all the day. - A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.
- Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me. - With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! - I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart;
I will tell of all Your marvelous works.
