- For we are God's fellow workers. You are God's field, God's building.
- Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they shall see God. - Jesus looked at them and said, “With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God.”
- So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them. - No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.
- And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
- Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- But I am the Lord your God
from the land of Egypt;
you know no God but me,
and besides me there is no savior. - Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
- Our God is in the heavens;
he does all that he pleases. - Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one.
- So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God's rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.
- Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
- And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families.
- These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
- Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life. - To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
- Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.
- For God alone my soul waits in silence;
from him comes my salvation. - God shall bless us;
let all the ends of the earth fear him! - Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they shall be called sons of God. - Why are you cast down, O my soul,
and why are you in turmoil within me?
Hope in God; for I shall again praise him,
my salvation and my God. - For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
for my hope is from him. - Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up your hand;
forget not the afflicted. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
But he said, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.Next verse!With image
