- Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
- For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.
- Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - He revealeth the deep and secret things:
he knoweth what is in the darkness,
and the light dwelleth with him. - Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought his judgment;
seek righteousness, seek meekness:
it may be ye shall be hid
in the day of the Lord's anger. - Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
- Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
- A talebearer revealeth secrets:
but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter. - I acknowledge my sin unto thee,
and mine iniquity have I not hid.
I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord;
and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. - But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face; That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
