- Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name! - Blessed is every one who fears the Lord,
Who walks in His ways. - For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.
- He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
- He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
But he who is careless of his ways will die. - The hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbor,
But through knowledge the righteous will be delivered. - You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.
- And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
- He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions. - He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart;
He who does not backbite with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend. - I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth. - In that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, His statutes, and His judgments, that you may live and multiply; and the Lord your God will bless you in the land which you go to possess.
- The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace. - And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’
- Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
Who seek Him with the whole heart! - For the Lord gives wisdom;
From His mouth come knowledge and understanding. - The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry. - Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable. - For the Lord takes pleasure in His people;
He will beautify the humble with salvation. - Who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.
- Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever. - A wise son makes a glad father,
But a foolish son is the grief of his mother. - Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
- He guards the paths of justice,
And preserves the way of His saints.
