- You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.
- For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning. - Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
- In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
- Let each of us please his neighbor for his good, leading to edification.
- Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;

Is God in His holy habitation. - He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.
- One who turns away his ear from hearing the law,
Even his prayer is an abomination. - In my distress I called upon the Lord,
And cried out to my God;
He heard my voice from His temple,
And my cry came before Him, even to His ears. - I wait for the Lord, my soul waits,
And in His word I do hope. - He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice;
Righteous and upright is He. - But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting
On those who fear Him,
And His righteousness to children’s children,
To such as keep His covenant,
And to those who remember His commandments to do them. - The rich man’s wealth is his strong city,
And like a high wall in his own esteem. - Can one walk on hot coals,
And his feet not be seared? - For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
- Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
- And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
- As he came from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return,
To go as he came;
And he shall take nothing from his labor
Which he may carry away in his hand. - And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
- For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.
- Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.
- Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
