- The one who keeps God’s commands lives in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us.
- Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.

- For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
- Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.

- For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
- A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. - The soothing tongue is a tree of life,
but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit. - So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
- I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
- And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.
- So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.
