| In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. | My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. |
| If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. | And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth. |
