I (3/4)

  • Truly, truly I say to you, the one who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I am going to the Father.
  • But He knows the way I take;
    When He has put me to the test, I will come out as gold.
    My foot has held on to His path;
    I have kept His way and not turned aside.
  • If I have the gift of prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
  • I came forth from the Father and have come into the world; again, I am leaving the world and going to the Father.
  • Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.
  • For I give plenty of water to the weary ones, and refresh everyone who languishes.
  • And I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
  • I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
  • So I will prove Myself great, show Myself holy, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the Lord.
  • But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you shall walk entirely in the way which I command you, so that it may go well for you.’
  • Turn to my rebuke,
    Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you;
    I will make my words known to you.
  • Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
  • I have not failed the command of His lips;
    I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.
  • I have wiped out your wrongdoings like a thick cloud
    And your sins like a heavy mist.
    Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.
  • The Lord is my light and my salvation;
    Whom should I fear?
    The Lord is the defense of my life;
    Whom should I dread?
  • Go, gather all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants also will fast in the same way. And then I will go in to the king, which is not in accordance with the law; and if I perish, I perish.
  • I hurried and did not delay
    To keep Your commandments.
  • “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
    “Therefore I wait for Him.”
  • In My Father’s house are many rooms; if that were not so, I would have told you, because I am going there to prepare a place for you.
  • I cried to Him with my mouth,
    And He was exalted with my tongue.
  • Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!
  • I, I Myself, am He who comforts you.
    Who are you that you are afraid of mortal man,
    And of a son of man who is made like grass.
  • One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek:
    That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
    To behold the beauty of the Lord
    And to meditate in His temple.
  • As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
  • I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
