Chinese (traditional)- Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers. - If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in private rooms shall be proclaimed on the housetops.
- And in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side. And he called out, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the end of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am in anguish in this flame.’
- So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them. - In you, O Lord, do I take refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me! - No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
- Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
- For a day in your courts is better
than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of wickedness. - Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.
- Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
- Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.
- Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus.
- Because you are precious in my eyes,
and honored, and I love you,
I give men in return for you,
peoples in exchange for your life. - God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
- Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
- Pray then like this:
“Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name.
Your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.” - O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice;
in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch. - For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily, and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.
- He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.” - If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.
- Our God is in the heavens;
he does all that he pleases. - Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness:
He was manifested in the flesh,
vindicated by the Spirit,
seen by angels,
proclaimed among the nations,
believed on in the world,
taken up in glory.
I have taught you the way of wisdom;
I have led you in the paths of uprightness.Therefore you are great, O Lord God. For there is none like you, and there is no God besides you, according to all that we have heard with our ears. Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.Next verse!With image
