- Guide me in your truth and teach me,
for you are God my Savior,
and my hope is in you all day long. - Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God. - Unless the Lord builds the house,
the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city,
the guards stand watch in vain. - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
- Good and upright is the Lord;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
He guides the humble in what is right
and teaches them his way. - Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
- Observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go.
- Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
- But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
- The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
- Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. - Blessed are all who fear the Lord,
who walk in obedience to him. - Create in me a pure heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me. - In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- I have hidden your word in my heart
that I might not sin against you. - For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
- Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
- Our help is in the name of the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
- How good and pleasant it is
when God’s people live together in unity! - There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
- The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble. - Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief. - Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. - And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.
For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.Next verse!With image
