Jesus replied, “This is the work of God: to believe in the one whom he has sent.”Jesus answered them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent.”
Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus.Indeed, all who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Above his head was inscribed the charge against him: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”Over his head they put the charge against him, which read, “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
Who indeed conquers the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?Who is it that conquers the world but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?”Jesus said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believed, you would see the glory of God?”
God abides in anyone who acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, and that person abides in God.God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”When Jesus heard this, he replied, “Do not fear. Only believe, and she will be saved.”
They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”They answered, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!The one who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and man, Christ Jesus, himself a man.For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human.
And every tongue should proclaim to the glory of God the Father: Jesus Christ is Lord.And every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
“Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again. “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you.”
Jesus then said, “I will remain with you only for a short time longer, and then I shall return to him who sent me.”Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little while longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
For I resolved that, while I was with you, I would know nothing except Jesus Christ—and him crucified.For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.”From that time Jesus began to proclaim, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
Jesus replied, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
And eternal life is this: to know you, the only true God, and the one you have sent, Jesus Christ.And this is eternal life, that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
And my God will fully supply all your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
I press on toward the finishing line to win the heavenly prize to which God has called me in Christ Jesus.I press on toward the goal for the prize of the heavenly call of God in Christ Jesus.
Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Jesus looked at them and said, “For men this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”

Jesus replied, “Amen, amen, I say to you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.”Jesus answered him, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.”
