- Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
- Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming.
- You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear him and keep his commandments and obey his voice, and you shall serve him and hold fast to him.
- And keep the charge of the Lord your God, walking in his ways and keeping his statutes, his commandments, his rules, and his testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.
- Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
- You shall not add to the word that I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God that I command you.
- Do not swerve to the right or to the left;
turn your foot away from evil. - My son, do not forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for length of days and years of life
and peace they will add to you. - Oh that they had such a heart as this always, to fear me and to keep all my commandments, that it might go well with them and with their descendants forever!
- And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- Whoever keeps the commandment keeps his life;
he who despises his ways will die. - Put away from you crooked speech,
and put devious talk far from you. - But the steadfast love of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him,
and his righteousness to children's children,
to those who keep his covenant
and remember to do his commandments. - If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.
- Preserve me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
- Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him.
- So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.
- Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment until the day of judgment.
- Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.
- Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.
- It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife,
but every fool will be quarreling. - For “Whoever desires to love life
and see good days,
let him keep his tongue from evil
and his lips from speaking deceit;
let him turn away from evil and do good;
let him seek peace and pursue it.” - I have set the Lord always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. - Keep steady my steps according to your promise,
and let no iniquity get dominion over me. - Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, and to walk in all his ways and to keep his commandments and to cling to him and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.
