| But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. | But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins. |
| Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. | You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. |
| Commit your works to the Lord, And your thoughts will be established. | Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed. |
| Who is wise? Let him understand these things. Who is prudent? Let him know them. For the ways of the Lord are right; The righteous walk in them, But transgressors stumble in them. | Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the Lord are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall. |
| Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. | Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. |
| For Your mercy reaches unto the heavens, And Your truth unto the clouds. | For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. |
