- He has told you, mortal one, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justice, to love kindness,
And to walk humbly with your God? - Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, mend your ways, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- And may the Lord cause you to increase and overflow in love for one another, and for all people, just as we also do for you.
- So husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself.

- But speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is, Christ.
- The Lord your God is in your midst,
A victorious warrior.
He will rejoice over you with joy,
He will be quiet in His love,
He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy. - “I love You, Lord, my strength.”
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.
- Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will follow My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.”
- The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.
- See how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God; and in fact we are. For this reason the world does not know us: because it did not know Him.
- One who conceals an offense seeks love,
But one who repeats a matter separates close friends. - We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.
- For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.
- Nevertheless, as for you individually, each husband is to love his own wife the same as himself, and the wife must see to it that she respects her husband.
- But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
- You are altogether beautiful, my darling,
And there is no blemish on you. - Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not become bitter against them.
- And I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.
- But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
