- Our God is in the heavens,
and he does as he wishes. - But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

For each day he carries us in his arms. - But he was pierced for our rebellion,
crushed for our sins.

He was whipped so we could be healed. - Our help is from the Lord,

a punishment for his own sins! - For who is God except the Lord?
Who but our God is a solid rock? - He called you to salvation when we told you the Good News; now you can share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day.

Who but our God is a solid rock? - Instead, let us test and examine our ways.
Let us turn back to the Lord. - May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace.
- He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.
- Come, let us worship and bow down.
Let us kneel before the Lord our maker. - And the Lord our God commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear him so he can continue to bless us and preserve our lives, as he has done to this day.
- For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.
- The grass withers and the flowers fade,
but the word of our God stands forever. - He has removed our sins as far from us
as the east is from the west. - We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and sisters.
- Teach us to realize the brevity of life,
so that we may grow in wisdom. - Some nations boast of their chariots and horses,
but we boast in the name of the Lord our God. - Once again you will have compassion on us.
You will trample our sins under your feet
and throw them into the depths of the ocean!
