- The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace. - I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
- So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
But counselors of peace have joy. - For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
- Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
- And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
- Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever;
Do not forsake the works of Your hands. - But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
- And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen. - The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.
- Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
- Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.
- The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace. - The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
- How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!” - For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. - If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men.
- For
“He who would love life
And see good days,
Let him refrain his tongue from evil,
And his lips from speaking deceit.
Let him turn away from evil and do good;
Let him seek peace and pursue it.” - My son, do not forget my law,
But let your heart keep my commands;
For length of days and long life
And peace they will add to you. - Then the churches throughout all Judea, Galilee, and Samaria had peace and were edified. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, they were multiplied.
