- Is anyone among you sick? Then he must call for the elders of the church and they are to pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.

The Lord of armies,

They decorate the idol with silver and gold;
They fasten it with nails and hammers
So that it will not totter.
They are like a scarecrow in a cucumber field,

Do not fear them,
For they can do no harm,
Nor can they do any good. - In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.
- For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God.
- For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
- The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver,
The heart of the wicked is worth little. - Guarding the paths of justice,
And He watches over the way of His godly ones. - Being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- The mentioning of the righteous is a blessing,
But the name of the wicked will rot. - I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - May the kindness of the Lord our God be upon us;
And confirm for us the work of our hands;
Yes, confirm the work of our hands. - The hope of the righteous is gladness,
But the expectation of the wicked perishes. - Grandchildren are the crown of the old,
And the glory of sons is their fathers. - Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and about the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment.
- The good person out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth what is good; and the evil person out of the evil treasure brings forth what is evil; for his mouth speaks from that which fills his heart.
