Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.
And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise.
For I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.For I know that as you pray for me and the Spirit of Jesus Christ helps me, this will lead to my deliverance.
I cried out to him with my mouth; his praise was on my tongue.For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke.
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.
The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and he sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven.
Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!”And then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea. They sang: “Blessing and honor and glory and power belong to the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever.”
I spread out my hands to you; I thirst for you like a parched land.I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time.So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.
My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.
Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil—this is a gift of God.And it is a good thing to receive wealth from God and the good health to enjoy it. To enjoy your work and accept your lot in life—this is indeed a gift from God.
Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord; Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help. Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.
Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he guards the lives of his faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked.
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress.
In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life.
I love the Lord, for he heard my voice; he heard my cry for mercy. Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.I love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath!
Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer.
And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.But when you are praying, first forgive anyone you are holding a grudge against, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your sins, too.
But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.But the Scriptures declare that we are all prisoners of sin, so we receive God’s promise of freedom only by believing in Jesus Christ.
The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife.The husband should fulfill his wife’s sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husband’s needs. The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and the husband gives authority over his body to his wife.
Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.

His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.
