- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - You have also given me the shield of Your salvation,
And Your right hand upholds me;
And Your gentleness makes me great.
You enlarge my steps under me,
And my feet have not slipped. - The heavens tell of the glory of God;
And their expanse declares the work of His hands.
Day to day pours forth speech,
And night to night reveals knowledge. - The Law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. - The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. - May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart
Be acceptable in Your sight,
Lord, my rock and my Redeemer. - May He grant you your heart’s desire
And fulfill your whole plan! - Some praise their chariots and some their horses,
But we will praise the name of the Lord, our God. - The Lord is my shepherd,
I will not be in need.
He lets me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters. - Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil, for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - Certainly goodness and faithfulness will follow me all the days of my life,
And my dwelling will be in the house of the Lord forever. - The earth is the Lord’s, and all it contains,
The world, and those who live in it. - Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of armies,
He is the King of glory. Selah - Make me know Your ways, Lord;
Teach me Your paths. - Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day. - Remember, Lord, Your compassion and Your faithfulness,
For they have been from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth or my wrongdoings;
Remember me according to Your faithfulness,
For Your goodness’ sake, Lord. - The Lord is good and upright;
Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in justice,
And He teaches the humble His way. - The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom should I fear?
The Lord is the defense of my life;
Whom should I dread? - If an army encamps against me,
My heart will not fear;
If war arises against me,
In spite of this I am confident. - One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
To behold the beauty of the Lord
And to meditate in His temple. - I certainly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living. - Wait for the Lord;
Be strong and let your heart take courage;
Yes, wait for the Lord. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart triumphs,
And with my song I shall thank Him. - The Lord will give strength to His people;
The Lord will bless His people with peace. - For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for a lifetime;
Weeping may last for the night,
But a shout of joy comes in the morning.
In You, Lord, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be put to shame;
In Your righteousness rescue me.An excellent wife, who can find her?
