Bible Verses about 'Rise up'
- These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.
- He isn’t here, but is risen. Remember what he told you when he was still in Galilee, saying that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and the third day rise again?
- So then the other disciple who came first to the tomb also entered in, and he saw and believed. For as yet they didn’t know the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.

my heart shall not fear.
Though war should rise against me,

The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever.

Don’t forget the helpless. - Therefore Yahweh will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you, for Yahweh is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him.
- But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.
- Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand to this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses said would happen, how the Christ must suffer, and how, by the resurrection of the dead, he would be first to proclaim light both to these people and to the Gentiles.
- Hatred stirs up strife,
but love covers all wrongs. - He heals the broken in heart,
and binds up their wounds. - Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
- For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up.
- He led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he blessed them, he withdrew from them and was carried up into heaven.
- A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger. - Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death, and will hand him over to the Gentiles to mock, to scourge, and to crucify; and the third day he will be raised up.
- When I said, “My foot is slipping!”
Your loving kindness, Yahweh, held me up. - A man’s pride brings him low,
but one of lowly spirit gains honor. - Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
- When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.
- He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
- When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, “It is finished!” Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
- So then the Lord, after he had spoken to them, was received up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.
- The vine has dried up, and the fig tree withered—
the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree,
even all of the trees of the field are withered;
for joy has withered away from the sons of men.
