- Though an host should encamp against me,
my heart shall not fear:
though war should rise against me,
in this will I be confident. - Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed. For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
- He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

- Hatred stirreth up strifes:
but love covereth all sins. - He healeth the broken in heart,
and bindeth up their wounds. - And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
- No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper;
and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. - For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
- When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. - And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

- And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
- So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
- Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
