- For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
- But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
- Remove far from me vanity and lies:
give me neither poverty nor riches;
feed me with food convenient for me. - For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
- For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
- A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth:
and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! - The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
- For he satisfieth the longing soul,
and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. - If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath,
from doing thy pleasure on my holy day;
and call the sabbath a delight,
the holy of the Lord, honourable;
and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways,
nor finding thine own pleasure,
nor speaking thine own words:
Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord;
and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth,
and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father:
for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. - My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee. - He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.
To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
