- Urge slaves to be subject to their own masters in everything, to be pleasing, not argumentative, not stealing, but showing all good faith so that they will adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in every respect.

For the sake of Your name You will lead me and guide me. - Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day. - My times are in Your hand;

- Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness;
According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.
Wash me thoroughly from my guilt

Your faithfulness, Lord, will support me. - I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have revived me. - Hear my prayer, Lord,
Listen to my pleadings!
Answer me in Your faithfulness, in Your righteousness! - Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord,
We have waited for You eagerly;
Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls. - Trust in the Lord with all your heart
And do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He will make your paths straight. - And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- I have chosen the faithful way;
I have placed Your judgments before me. - With all my heart I have sought You;
Do not let me wander from Your commandments. - I have wiped out your wrongdoings like a thick cloud
And your sins like a heavy mist.
Return to Me, for I have redeemed you. - The one who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and the one who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will reveal Myself to him.
- And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.”
- Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be prolonged on the land which the Lord your God gives you.
- Yet I have been the Lord your God
Since the land of Egypt;
And you were not to know any god except Me,
For there is no savior besides Me. - Keep deception and lies far from me,
Give me neither poverty nor riches;
Feed me with the food that is my portion. - “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. - These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.
- But I have trusted in Your faithfulness;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has looked after me. - Establish my footsteps in Your word,
And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me.
