- Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
- So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
- So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
- So shall the knowledge of wisdom be to your soul;
If you have found it, there is a prospect,
And your hope will not be cut off. - Judge not, that you be not judged.
- And so it was, because the midwives feared God, that He provided households for them.
- Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober.
- Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man. - When goods increase,
They increase who eat them;
So what profit have the owners
Except to see them with their eyes? - Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels.
- And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
- Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
- So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
- Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You. - For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
- For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
- Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due,
When it is in the power of your hand to do so. - Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
- For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.
- Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
- Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.
- So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
- But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
- You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
