The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
From everlasting. - Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
- He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. - The wicked man does deceptive work,
But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward. - Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him.
- He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”
Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! - To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
- No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
- For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
- Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”
- For thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the humble,
And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” - “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
