- But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. - No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
- But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
- In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity consider: God also hath set the one over against the other, to the end that man should find nothing after him.

- Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
- For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
- Happy is the man that findeth wisdom,
and the man that getteth understanding. - Blessed is he
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.
- Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
- Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth:
therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty. - For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
- But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
- But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
- For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
- For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.
- Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
