- And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

- And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
- There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
- Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.
- And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
- He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
- He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good:
and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. - The wicked worketh a deceitful work:
but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. - Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
- He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
- To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
- Then said Jesus unto them, Yet a little while am I with you, and then I go unto him that sent me.
- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
- For thus saith the high and lofty One
that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place,
with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite ones. - I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved:
for thou art my praise. - And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?
- But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
- I, even I, am he that comforteth you:
who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die,
and of the son of man which shall be made as grass.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way.Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
