- Woe to him who strives with his Maker—
a clay pot among the clay pots of the earth!
Shall the clay ask him who fashions it, ‘What are you making?’
or your work, ‘He has no hands’? - But he who didn’t know, and did things worthy of stripes, will be beaten with few stripes. To whomever much is given, of him will much be required; and to whom much was entrusted, of him more will be asked.
- I, even I, am he who comforts you.
Who are you, that you are afraid of man who shall die,
and of the son of man who will be made as grass? - One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city. - Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
- Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
- The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom.
The knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - A man’s steps are established by Yahweh.
He delights in his way. - I heard every created thing which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, on the sea, and everything in them, saying, “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion, forever and ever! Amen!”
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”
- For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
- Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.
- For this is the message which you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
- For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, that you may not do the things that you desire.
- Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
- You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe—and shudder.
- One thing I have asked of Yahweh, that I will seek after:
that I may dwell in Yahweh’s house all the days of my life,
to see Yahweh’s beauty,
and to inquire in his temple. - Yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we live through him.
- For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.”
- I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father who has given them to me is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.
- Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.
- Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective.
- Save us now, we beg you, Yahweh!
Yahweh, we beg you, send prosperity now.
Blessed is he who comes in Yahweh’s name!
We have blessed you out of Yahweh’s house. - Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting.
- For every house is built by someone; but he who built all things is God.
