- Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith—the salvation of your souls.
- For You will light my lamp;
The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head. - Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
And Your glory above all the earth. - And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

Let Your glory be above all the earth. - For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,
And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. - You, O Lord, remain forever;
Your throne from generation to generation. - For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. - Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there. - And keep the charge of the Lord your God: to walk in His ways, to keep His statutes, His commandments, His judgments, and His testimonies, as it is written in the Law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn.
- I will be glad and rejoice in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.”
- As you do not know what is the way of the wind,
Or how the bones grow in the womb of her who is with child,
So you do not know the works of God who makes everything. - So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
- Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
- And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”
- I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
- Then you will understand righteousness and justice,
Equity and every good path. - For You are my rock and my fortress;
Therefore, for Your name’s sake,
Lead me and guide me. - Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable. - You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.
- I will strengthen the house of Judah,
And I will save the house of Joseph.
I will bring them back,
Because I have mercy on them.
They shall be as though I had not cast them aside;
For I am the Lord their God,
And I will hear them. - And they stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him. When they had twisted a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And they bowed the knee before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
