- Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?”
Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.” - The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed,
A refuge in times of trouble. - I will bless the Lord at all times;
His praise shall continually be in my mouth. - A friend loves at all times,
And a brother is born for adversity. - If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.
- My times are in Your hand;
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies,
And from those who persecute me. - Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
- Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.
- Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.
- In the day of prosperity be joyful,
But in the day of adversity consider:
Surely God has appointed the one as well as the other,
So that man can find out nothing that will come after him. - And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.
- God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble. - The Lord is good,
A stronghold in the day of trouble;
And He knows those who trust in Him. - But I will sing of Your power;
Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
For You have been my defense
And refuge in the day of my trouble. - So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life.”
- But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
Though you are little among the thousands of Judah,
Yet out of you shall come forth to Me
The One to be Ruler in Israel,
Whose goings forth are from of old,
From everlasting. - But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.
My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You,
And my soul, which You have redeemed. For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age.Next verse!With image My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to You, And my soul, which You have redeemed.Personal Bible reading plan
