- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that counts is faith working through love.
- You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
- I made your name known to them, and I will make it known, so that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.
- Let your face shine upon your servant;
save me in your steadfast love. - A friend loves at all times,
and kinsfolk are born to share adversity. - Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind.
- How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?
- And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
- Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will hardship, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
- God's love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might live through him.
- When I thought, “My foot is slipping,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
- He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”
- But I say to you that listen, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
- Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven,
for all his works are truth,
and his ways are justice;
and he is able to bring low
those who walk in pride. - If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
- Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who maintains covenant loyalty with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.
- Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.
- For God is not unjust; he will not overlook your work and the love that you showed for his sake in serving the saints, as you still do.
- Shun youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
- I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my supplications.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - But, as it is written,
“What no eye has seen, nor ear heard,
nor the human heart conceived,
what God has prepared for those who love him” - The Lord is merciful and gracious,
slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. - Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord alone. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.Next verse!With image
