Trust and obey (4/4)

  • But if the wicked turn away from all their sins that they have committed and keep all my statutes and do what is lawful and right, they shall surely live; they shall not die.
  • But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength,
they shall mount up with wings like eagles,
they shall run and not be weary,
they shall walk and not faint.
  • Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
  • Look at the proud!
Their spirit is not right in them,
but the righteous live by their faith.
  • Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and rejoice with an indescribable and glorious joy, for you are receiving the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
  • The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom;
all those who practice it have a good understanding.
    His praise endures forever.
  • Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, singing,
“To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might
    forever and ever!”
  • You must neither add anything to what I command you nor take away anything from it, but keep the commandments of the Lord your God with which I am charging you.
  • This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to act in accordance with all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall be successful.
  • Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
  • All who have sinned apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.
  • Depart from evil, and do good;
    seek peace, and pursue it.
  • The reward for humility and fear of the Lord
is riches and honor and life.
  • I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.
  • Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.
  • So now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you? Only to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to keep the commandments of the Lord your God and his decrees that I am commanding you today, for your own well-being.
  • I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever.
  • And when he comes, he will prove the world wrong about sin and righteousness and judgment.
  • Then when you call upon me and come and pray to me, I will hear you.
  • To our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen.
  • Riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might; and it is in your hand to make great and to give strength to all.
  • So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.
  • “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
  • And the Lord God made garments of skins for the man and for his wife, and clothed them.
  • About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.

Bible verse of the day

And not only that, but we also boast in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all consolation, who consoles us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to console those who are in any affliction with the consolation with which we ourselves are consoled by God.Next verse! With image
