- The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You. - I have instructed you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in upright paths. - Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace among people with whom He is pleased. - Being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- Blessed are those whose way is blameless,
Who walk in the Law of the Lord. - In the morning, Lord, You will hear my voice;
In the morning I will present my prayer to You and be on the watch. - And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Deceit is in the heart of those who devise evil,
But counselors of peace have joy. - You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
- For a thousand years in Your sight
Are like yesterday when it passes by,
Or like a watch in the night. - Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.
- I have set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall serve as a sign of a covenant between Me and the earth.
- For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light.
- I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go;
I will advise you with My eye upon you. - For today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
- “For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live!”
- In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked,
Nor stand in the path of sinners,
Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! - Every word of God is pure;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. - Train up a child in the way he should go,
Even when he grows older he will not abandon it. - But I have trusted in Your faithfulness;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation.
I will sing to the Lord,
Because He has looked after me. - How great is Your goodness,
Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You,
Before the sons of mankind! - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage battle according to the flesh.
- And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they did not stop teaching and preaching the good news of Jesus as the Christ.
