Chinese (traditional)- The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
- For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
- The way of the Lord is strength to the upright:
but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. - Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - He that walketh uprightly walketh surely:
but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. - We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments.
- Envy thou not the oppressor,
and choose none of his ways.
For the froward is abomination to the Lord:
but his secret is with the righteous. - See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
- Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
- Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him.
- Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
In my distress I called upon the Lord,
and cried unto my God:
he heard my voice out of his temple,
and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
