- Remember this: if you sow sparingly, you will reap sparingly, and if you sow generously, you will reap generously as well.
- A highway will be there
that will be called the Way of Holiness.
No one who is unclean may pass over it;
it will serve as a path for pilgrims
and no fool will be able to use it. - Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.
- Then it will come to pass
that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. - With his feathers he will shelter you,
and you will take refuge under his wings;
his faithfulness serves as a protective shield. - Anyone who has received my commandments
and observes them
is the one who loves me.
And whoever loves me
will be loved by my Father,
and I will love him
and reveal myself to him. - And the good news of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the entire world as a testimony offered to all the nations. And then the end will come.
- And I say to you: You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of the netherworld will not prevail against it.
- You shall serve the Lord, your God. He will bless your bread and water and take away sickness from your midst.
- I will walk in complete freedom
because I have sought your commands. - Call to me and I will answer you and reveal to you great and mysterious secrets about which you are unaware.
- My son, if your heart is wise,
then my heart will be glad. - I will put my Spirit in you and make you follow my statutes and my ordinances.
- If you would seriously consider my reproof,
I would pour out my thoughts to you
and make my precepts known to you. - All those who have sinned outside the Law will perish outside the Law, and all who sinned under the Law will be judged by the Law.
- And if then my people who bear my name humble themselves and pray to me and seek my presence as they turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear them from heaven and forgive their sins and restore their land.
- Even if an army encamps against me,
my heart will not succumb to fear;
even if war breaks out against me,
I will not have my trust shaken. - They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”
- Be still and acknowledge that I am God,
exalted among the nations,
exalted on the earth. - Come to me, all you who are weary and overburdened, and I will give you rest.
- Anyone who is victorious will be dressed like these in white robes, and I shall not blot his name from the book of life. Rather, I shall acknowledge it in the presence of my Father and his angels.
- You need to be steadfast if you want to do the will of God and receive what he has promised.
- I will praise you in sincerity of heart
as I ponder your righteous judgments. - Whatever you ask in my name I will do,
so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. - For I, the Lord, am your God
and I grasp your right hand.
It is I who say to you,
Do not fear; I will help you.
