| That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. | Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. | Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. |
| Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute. | Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. |
| I hear the tumult of the raging seas as your waves and surging tides sweep over me. | Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. |
