Bible Verses about Weakness

That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever. My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Keep watch and pray, so that you will not give in to temptation. For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.A merry heart does good, like medicine, But a broken spirit dries the bones.
Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed.Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die.
Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute.Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy.
I hear the tumult of the raging seas as your waves and surging tides sweep over me.Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; All Your waves and billows have gone over me.
