For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. | For we are God’s coworkers; you are God’s field, God’s building. |
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? | Do you not realize that you are God’s temple, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? |
|
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are. | If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple. |
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. | Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise. |
