Chinese (traditional)Yahweh, the Lord, is my strength.
He makes my feet like deer’s feet,
and enables me to go in high places. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him. Train up a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not depart from it. Confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. For who is God, besides Yahweh?
Who is a rock, besides our God? The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, just as it was told them. While they were there, the day had come for her to give birth. She gave birth to her firstborn son. She wrapped him in bands of cloth and laid him in a feeding trough, because there was no room for them in the inn. She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins. So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger. The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver.
The heart of the wicked is of little worth. Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. There is no one as holy as Yahweh,
for there is no one besides you,
nor is there any rock like our God. My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth. For since death came by man, the resurrection of the dead also came by man. These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind. Now I declare to you, brothers, the Good News which I preached to you, which also you received, in which you also stand, by which also you are saved, if you hold firmly the word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. Can a woman forget her nursing child,
that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Yes, these may forget,
yet I will not forget you!
Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.
Your walls are continually before me. For while we were yet weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. Search me, God, and know my heart.
Try me, and know my thoughts.
See if there is any wicked way in me,
and lead me in the everlasting way. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God’s service, continually doing this very thing. When I am afraid,
I will put my trust in you. For the love of Christ compels us; because we judge thus: that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again. The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. Since you have been precious and honored in my sight,
and I have loved you,
therefore I will give people in your place,
and nations instead of your life. For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful. Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know. To whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up. All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him will receive remission of sins.
