Chinese (traditional)Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. He who is slow to wrath has great understanding,
But he who is impulsive exalts folly. And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these. Do not envy the oppressor,
And choose none of his ways;
For the perverse person is an abomination to the Lord,
But His secret counsel is with the upright. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. He who follows righteousness and mercy
Finds life, righteousness, and honor. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman stays awake in vain. Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord. But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment. Who can find a virtuous wife?
For her worth is far above rubies. Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content. He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ For His anger is but for a moment,
His favor is for life;
Weeping may endure for a night,
But joy comes in the morning. Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. In You, O Lord, I put my trust;
Let me never be ashamed;
Deliver me in Your righteousness. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them. And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? For thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place,
With him who has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the humble,
And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” Commit your works to the Lord,
And your thoughts will be established. Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. As far as the east is from the west,
So far has He removed our transgressions from us. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. Thus says the Lord:
“Stand in the ways and see,
And ask for the old paths, where the good way is,
And walk in it;
Then you will find rest for your souls.
But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’” To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.Next verse!With image
